Hey, Karen’s Back!
More stuff to do at the ranch
Gotta love the storms.
The barn made it through that amazing storm. Lots of broken trees and limbs, with a couple on the fence, but nothing that can’t be fixed quickly and easily. The paddocks are happily filled with horseys.
Unfortunately, the porta potty didn’t make it. It was tipped over by a branch. Anyone want to clean it?
Luckily, I wasn’t in it when it tipped over.
Pictures when we get some sunlight.![IMG_1927[1]](http://saddleuphorsetraining.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/img_19271.jpg?w=1024&h=768)

Hey!
It was a beautiful day to put up hay. And a many “THANK YOUS!” to all of you who helped us put up 700 bales of hay today.
this looks promising
Riding
I can’t believe that I rode a horse. A smile and a “its my birthday today, do you want to go for a trail ride?” I was thinking bike and was like “sweet! Love to!”
Course, Jenny was thinking “horse.”
Not on the top of my mind, but it was for the next hour or so.
She got out Colby, thinking that I needed someone less spirited to ride. I wasn’t worried, I had my special hat – the hat that imbues the wearing with amazing John Wayne like cowboy skills. It worked, as I didn’t fall off.
You would think that my butt wouldn’t be sore with the biking that I do, but it does. I whined the whole ride.
It was fun though.
Beautiful weekend, even with the threat of rain.
